Fabio Martínez y su Cuarteto
Fabio Martínez and his Quartet present an intimate night filled with bolero and emotion. The Lord of Bolero in Panama will celebrate International Bolero Day with his audience in a special concert you won't want to miss.
Born in Puerto Armuelles, he moved to Panama City inspired by great bolero singers like Roberto Ledesma, Tito Rodríguez, and Cheo Feliciano.
Early in his career, he gained recognition on national television and joined the band “Los Salvajes del Ritmo,” but later chose to follow his passion for bolero before the group shifted to salsa. His discography includes celebrated albums such as Boleros, Boleros y Algo Más, Mis Canciones Favoritas, Panamá Ayer y Hoy, and Mi Romance, the latter recorded in New York under the direction of legendary producer Víctor “Vitín” Paz and accompanied by top Latin jazz musicians.
Fabio has proudly represented Panama in over 25 international bolero festivals across countries like Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru. His emotional style and timeless voice have earned him acclaim throughout Latin America. He also serves as the President of the Bolero Lovers Association of Panama, promoting the genre through annual festivals and cultural events.
Together with his carefully selected quartet, Fabio delivers heartfelt performances that blend bolero classics with touches of salsa and traditional Panamanian music—captivating audiences with warmth, nostalgia, and deep musical passion.
