On The Cinema: A Festival of Creativity, Water, and Global Vision
The On The Cinema Festival returns for its second edition, offering a platform where Panamanian creativity meets international recognition. This year, all participating works share one powerful element as their central theme: water. From horror films and documentaries to animated shorts and musical video clips, the festival highlights the diversity of genres and the richness of local storytelling.
An outstanding panel of juries, with experience in renowned production companies such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Caracol TV, and Televisión Azteca, will evaluate the projects. Their presence not only raises the level of the competition but also provides emerging filmmakers with the opportunity to receive feedback from professionals with a global perspective.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 27th, at Teatro Amador, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon filled with cinema, music, and digital animation, in a cultural experience designed to connect Panama with the world. On The Cinema is more than a festival — it is a celebration of creativity, passion, and the voice of Panamanian talent.
